Does someone have some background information about the change of
Bitlocker-requirements:

a) Vista: The system partition should be 1.5 GB

b) Win7 GUI-Install: System partition with 100 MB (!) size is
automatically created.

c) Win7 Help says: 200 MB (!) required

From the helf:
"To turn on BitLocker Drive Encryption on the operating system drive,
your computer’s hard disk must:
Have at least two partitions: a system partition (which contains the
files needed to start your computer and must be at least 200 MB) and an
operating system partition (which contains Windows). "

Hi Thorsten,

Thank you for your inquiry.

I have checked it with my colleagues and we confirmed it is an incorrect
information on this help.

100MB is correct. Please refer to the following link:

Getting Started with BitLocker Drive Encryption
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd875544(WS.10).aspx

I have reported this issue to our feedback team. I think it will be
corrected soon.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
