Is there a way to create individual folder to store various shortcuts on the
desktop and have them retain their settings, inluding size, postion, views,
etc.?

I could do this with XP, but not with W7. Whatever I do to change settings
on one folder causes the same changes to appear on all other folders when
opened.

Additionally, if I create two folders that are sized the way I want them,
and position them side by side, when closed and reopened, they now overlap.

There must be a registry tweak or something I can do to change this annoying
behavior.
