I have a message: "windows can not find <path>. Make sure you typed the name
correctly and then try again."
However, there is a directory <path>.

Your answer tells us the full path to the file but it does not tell us how
exactly you are trying to open it. You MUST post full details if you want a
good answer. If you don't then you will only get guesses.

Much better. I gather from the picture that some application is unable to
open the file "201001 mudança de casa.xls". You now need to post more
information, e.g.
- What application do ou use to open the file?
- Do you have a problem with just this file or also with other files in this
folder?
- When you are in Explorer, can you copy the file to some other folder?
- After copying it, can you open it?

It could be on a Vistas/Windows 7 machine, if you ignore the extra spaces
that the OP added. However, I still fail to understand his question. Do you
know what this is all about?

If your reply is what you're using, the 'spaces' are invalid. Try your path
without the spaces.
