There is a service running on a Windows 2003 Server that I sometimes need to
stop and then restart (so it picks up changes made in the config tool). When
I restart the service I always get this error message:-
"Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure."
So I go in and enter the password for the "this account", apply it and save
it........it works and lets me restart or start the service at this moment in
time. However when I need to restart/start it again the same thing happens:-
"Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure."
It is the same password I am entering every time, it just does not appear to
be saving it corretly or something....I just do not knowm but need this
resolved, any ideas?
